| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | OCTOBER 2024 | 71 Great idea! And it comes in my favorite fragrance "wet dog." Emily P. Even in my favorite "wet dog" fragrance. What could be better? Sue H. If it were really true that we could spray an earthquake away it would be a dream come true. One can only hope. Ruth R. I wonder what kind of magic it uses to work... Card trick magic? Or maybe "Makes the Statue of Liberty Disappear?" Wondering for a friend! Laurie W. Great idea! I hear that Politics Away Spray will soon be available as well. Victor G. For any disaster, SPRAY AWAY is a must, Especially in earthquakes; Which can raise lots of dust; I'll order a case to use in the future; And hope never to need it or even a suture! Gayle M. anks to Earthquake Away, we're no longer quaking in our boots! When things shake, rattle, and roll, we simply ll the room with a dense magical molecular cloud of anti-seismic spray, and dri o dreaming of fresh baked cookies. It's sugar free and calorie free too! Maren R. Sounds like a wonderful invention - I'll take the mega-sized in ocean mist. If it doesn't work, and it's the big one we've been waiting for, we could be ocean- front anyway and still get that great scent. Barbara C. It would be nice to spray away so many things. Oce for your Sun Lakes Restaurant dinner. From Courtney, the publisher: It's October and I'm planning to decorate for Halloween — for real this year. I had a great idea last year, inspired by this picture online: It seemed easy. Get a bunch of dolls, fill a black bag with rags, and stage the scene. I employed the help of my grandsons, Caleb and Aiden. We went shopping for old dolls with the plan to turn them into scary Halloween decorations. At a thrift store, the clerk turned to Caleb and said, "I'm really glad these dolls are getting a nice, loving home." He smiled weakly back at her. We both felt terrible as we walked to the car, knowing we were going to desecrate the dolls. So we decided to go to the dollar store and getting "barbie-ish" dolls that no one expects us to love. We set up a painting studio in the garage and spent hours and hours chopping off hair, painting bloody eyeballs, making scary vampire/ mummy/clown/acid- burn faces on about 60 of the dolls — then we ran out of time to execute our overall vision. But we packed them away, vowing to get back to work this year. I'll let you know how it goes. Even if we don't finish, we're having fun (and making some really weird memories) trying. win a free dinner. Congratulations to this month's Dinner Please call Monica in the Admin.
