This Cheese Ball has been a family tradition of ours ever since I can remember. It gets better with each serving as the flavors marry. You
can use any cracker you like, but I suggest a plain one, so it doesn't distract from the Cheese Ball itself. Also, for a Christmas twist I like to use
a red onion for more color. Let the festivities begin!
• 2 – 8 oz. Cream Cheese
• 1 – 8 oz. Cracker Barrel or Tillamook Sharp Cheddar
• 1-2 Tbsps. Chopped Pimento (a 2 oz. jar will suffice)
• 2 – Tbsps. Chopped Red Bell Pepper
• 2 – Tbsps. Finely Chopped Onion
• 2 – Tsps. Worchester Sauce
• Dash of Cayenne Pepper
• Dash of Pink Salt (Optional)
• 2 – Pkg. or 1 – Lg Pkg of Chopped Pecans
Combine Cream Cheese and Grated Sharp Cheddar in
mixer. Mix well. Add all other ingredients. Mix well. Scrape
onto wax paper and gently fold it over the Cheese Ball and Chill
(1hr +). Shape into a ball and roll into pecans. Encourage
eating a pecan with every bite. Then, when need be, reshape
on wax paper and roll in fresh pecans. *Cheese Ball is large,
but you can also make several small ones for gifts.
