FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2024 27 Occasionally ARC members receive information or questions from sources that are not official sources of the HOA. Often these comments and/or questions are posed on Next Door, Facebook, and other social media platforms. Any question posed on these sites will not be answered by ARC as official responses. Our community has established several official methods for communicating with our homeowners. These include the Breeze, our website www.fourseasonsbeaumont.org, Meet the Board events, and our monthly Board of Directors meetings as well as regularly- scheduled committee meetings. All questions should be directed to ARC and all other HOA organizations through the appropriate platform(s). Any inquiries (as well as answers) that are not received from these sources cannot be relied upon as accurate. ARC, as well as all other HOA organizations, respond to inquires and will help you obtain needed information as well as requested assistance upon request. You cannot and should not rely on information that you receive from any other source as being correct. Please do not make decisions based on unofficial information. This may cause you to incur unnecessary expense and/or find yourself in violation of rules and regulations. If you request information and/or help from official sources, you can save yourself time and money. As I frequently state, ARC members cannot give approval on any project except through the application process which requires a vote of all members. However, any ARC member will discuss what is contained in the published guidelines as well as help you complete and submit the required application(s). If the information in this article is unclear or leaves you with questions, feel free to contact me. ~ Steve Cooley, (801) 815-5302, cooleyaudit@gmail.com Architectural Review Committee Facilities Committee As we transition into fall, The Lodge undergoes a series of changes, mirroring the vibrant colors and the coming winter. This is a time of transformation, with a distinct change in the air and the landscape. In late October, as the fall season sets in, the pool at The Lodge will be closed. The pool will undergo a transformation with re- plastering and repaving of the decking and The Lodge compass area. And when spring arrives, the pool will reopen, ready to welcome you back for another season of fun and relaxation. For November, Deborah Wasbotten is in the Facilities spotlight. Deborah serves on the committee as both the Co-Chair and Secretary. She has been with the committee for nearly three years. Here is a little bit more about our Co-Chair, Deborah: Deborah is from Redlands, where she raised her three sons. She later married her husband, Michael, and welcomed him and his two daughters into her family. Deborah's adult life has served children and families as a teacher and administrator in early childhood programs, most recently as the Director of the Child Development Center and Laboratory School at Crafton Hills College. It would have never entered her mind to leave her family home and hometown until she and Michael accompanied Michael's sister and brother-in-law to look at homes in Four Seasons Beaumont. They instantly loved the beautiful landscaping, amenities, and homes. They spent almost a year waiting for the perfect home and, in 2016, found it near the hiking trails and the windmill, and were welcomed by wonderful neighbors. After more than 30 years working in child development and early education, Deborah retired in 2022. However, this didn't last long; retirement wasn't for her! She is now teaching child development courses at Crafton Hills College. Volunteerism is also in her blood. After spending years volunteering in youth sports and other community programs, she knew that volunteering in her community would suit her. She joined the Facilities Committee in 2022 and has enjoyed every minute. Deborah enjoys watching her grandchildren play sports: football, baseball, gymnastics, and Y Circus when she is not in the classroom or at a Facilities meeting. She is their biggest cheerleader! She has 10 grandchildren, with ages ranging from five to 22 years of age. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Deborah for her invaluable contributions as a volunteer. Her dedication and hard work make her a shining star in our community! The Facilities Committee meets the second Wednesday of every month at 9 am. For facilities concerns, you can contact me directly at Ginjo25@aol.com. Wishing you a beautiful Thanksgiving. ~ Regina Farmer
