FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2024 29 Recognition Committee As fall is upon us, the Recognition Committee members are busy as bees finalizing plans for our 20th anniversary of Four Seasons at Beaumont celebrations! In our last meeting, Nancy Ginnetti was voted to be committee chairperson. Nancy will lead the way to bring the best of the best for our 20 year anniversary. We are currently finalizing the plans with our Board of Directors. The festivities will begin January 2025; a sneak preview of our calendar of events will appear in our December Breeze magazine. This will be one of the biggest events this community has ever seen, we are so excited and cannot wait to let you in on the plans in January 2025. Until then, enjoy our beautiful fall season in the best place in the world to live: Four Seasons at Beaumont! ~ Regina Farmer Social Committee Meg O'Malley – Post high school, Meg entered the medical field and worked her way up from nursing assistant to phlebotomist and cardiology technician. Meg attended a specialized Invasive Cardiovascular program at Orange Coast College. After graduation, she was hired at St. Joseph Hospital/CHOC in Orange County. Meg's work consisted of assisting physicians to correct heart defects in newborns. She also assisted with opening coronary artery blockages in adult patients and with pacemaker implants. The profession was always interesting and exciting. Meg was instrumental with implementing a one-year program for in-house employees. This program was designed to enable the employee to learn a new skill that would benefit both the employee advancement as well as employee retainment within the hospital system. This program was highly successful. Meg has been a crafter since high school, creating mostly celebration decorations, wreaths, and beading art. Crafting has become her downtime recreation. This talent has been a wonderful addition to the Social Committee. DeAne Nottingham – DeAne worked at Loma Linda Veterans Administrative Medical Center from 1992 - 2016. DeAne was a Medical Clerk, Warehouse Worker, and Purchasing Agent during those years. She still has "girl trips" (cruises, road trips, and excursions) with the many friends that she met there. DeAne was on active duty Army 1975 – 1978. She trained as a Civil Engineer, but was assigned to clerical work when she reported to Fort Sill. DeAne served in the Air Force Reserve from 1982 – 1998 in Air Transportation/Special Handling Processing Hazardous Materials. Later, she became a Flight Leader in charge of training new personnel. She married her husband in 1993. Together they have five children between them and 11 grandchildren, ages 11-23. They are very fortunate that all of their family live fairly close. She has run numerous 5 and 10K races with her children and grandchildren. She and her husband fell in love with Four Seasons in 2005 and moved in the following year after their youngest had graduated from high school. DeAne's hobbies are gardening, walking, and hiking. She joined the Social Committee in April of this year. With her smile and great attitude, she has been a positive addition to the Social Committee.
