30 | THE COLONY NEWS | NOVEMBER 2024 | Did you know that the Wine Club Board Members have presented special and varied Wine Club events since early 2018? These gatherings have included educational opportunities to learn about new wines and wineries, fabulous bands to listen and dance to, and fun times with friends to enjoy great movies and Bingo! Let's give a big shout out to the Wine Club Board Members for their continued efforts in presenting such fabulous opportunities for us all! November's event will be dinner and dancing to Raincross Drive. This popular group features three long-time Southern California friends who have come together to celebrate songs from the '70s. Dinner will be catered by Gourmet Your Way and will include salad, Teriyaki-pineapple glazed chicken, jasmine rice, mixed veggies and dessert. Bring your drink of choice and enjoy an evening of fun! Tickets are $25 for members, $30 for guests (guest tickets will ONLY be sold on October 28). Come on out and dance your socks off! "Trust me, you can danceā€¦" said Wine. Wine Club members experienced an Old-Fashioned Southern Seafood Boil catered by Clambake Catering at our October event. Guests enjoyed good food, good wine, and dancing out on the patio to some good-ol' down home music by Ash Street Ramblers. It was a festive gathering celebrating the richness of the sea and the joy of being together. Remember, at The Colony Wine Club, "A glass of wine [is] an invitation to slow down and savor life's moments" (Anonymous). To savor life's moments with your friends, join the club! If you are interested in joining, please give Sharon Evans a call at 951-445- 3861. As always, if you would like to purchase tickets to any event, please attend one of the ticket sales dates. If you cannot make it to the dates indicated, you can have another club member purchase a ticket for you. Cheers!
