Our tournament for September provided
36 golfers a chance to score a first-
place position in our Regular Scramble
competition. Mother Nature provided us
with optimum weather conditions for the
event, with a cool morning tee time and comfortable conditions for
the finish. In the end, there was barely a hint of sunlight between the
first and second place teams. The winners were strongly pursued
with a meager .228 strokes advantage. When the competition was
over, the following posted winning positions for the contest.

The DARWIN AWARD went to Larry Determan
for compromising the golden rule of "golf
etiquette."
Our next contest is set for Thursday, Nov. 14,
and will be our most popular venue, the "Random
Draw." As with all Jack and Jill events, you DO
NOT have to be a member of either the Men's or Women's Golf Clubs
to play. Just pick up your sticks and join us for the fun and friendly
competition. See ya on the links!
