BYOB. | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | NOVEMBER 2024 | 33 Bid Whist PLUS Club Wow, it's November already. Where has this year gone? The holidays are approaching fast. Hopefully there will be lots of time with family and friends ahead for you – time with lots of good food. Now would be a good time to get a head start against all those holiday calories. Walk Fit Class is a good way to start. A full hour of aerobic walking burns about 350 calories. (Three times a week is 1,050 calories.) The class consists of nine different Leslie Sansone "Walk Fit" DVDs. The easy-to-follow routines are set to music with varying tempos. The complete class is four miles, but you can come late or leave early to shorten your routine and work at your own level. A few of the DVDs incorporate resistance bands (always optional). Some class members add light hand weights for added strength training. Stop by and give us a try. Class schedule: Mon., Wed., Fri. from 7:45 to 8:45 am in The Lodge Ballroom Class is free! New members are always welcome, both men and women! For more information, contact Karen Tuvim at (316) 260-0847. Walk Fit WIT (Women In Touch) The WIT ladies share a common bond – the loss of the love of their life. Our dinner meeting provides a special social interaction and helps to rekindle old and new friendships. The WIT Team gathers once a month in the Bistro for dinner. Our dinner orders are "called in" to the Bistro between 2 to 4 pm. When we gather at 5 pm, our orders are already being prepared and are ready to deliver to each attendee. We are a support group. Please accept our invitation to join us if you are a widow in need of a social connection and loving care. If you have any questions regarding WIT, please contact Brenda Beers at (951) 306-6670 or Jeanne Lincoln at (951) 765-7112. October's dinner meeting
