6 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | NOVEMBER 2024 | Holiday Charity Luncheon: Dec. 12 is the date for the well- attended Holiday Charity Luncheon. Please contact Chris Sullivan (951) 651-8470 if you wish to host a table. Tickets will go on sale on Wed., Nov. 6. Plans for 2025: Planning for the 2025 social calendar has commenced. In association with the Activity Directors Events that include a comedy show, a "fuhgeddaboudit" winter party followed by seven Music on the Plaza events beginning in April, the Social Committee will host a "dueling pianos" event in February, followed by a tribute concert in May, the annual July 4th celebration, Oktoberfest in September, and the Home Town Holiday, Holiday Home Tour and the New Year's Eve celebration in December. Ahoy! I'll Crush Ye Barnacles! The Pirates Ball tickets go on sale beginning at 8 am on Wed., Nov. 13. As in the previous "welcome" the new year parties, this event themed of big, black ships, pirates, and wenches will be a fun time. Swashbuckling dancers and maidens conjure up the days of Jack Sparrow and Blackbeard swigging a jug of fermented sugarcane juice. No need to dress as a pirate, just wear your fashionable eye patch and swirl a feather boa and you are in the mood. The versatile and ever popular Lifetime Rocker Band will help us dance and cheer in the new year. Dining choice of entrée: prime rib, salmon, and champagne chicken, or vegetarian dish, and includes many selections from the decadent dessert bar. The cost is $95 per person. Savvy? Arrgh! Pam McIntyre is one of the newest members of the Social Committee but I bet you didn't know she was a singer/dancer/ character as a cast member at Disneyland. I bet you didn't know she was a police officer in Perris when she met her husband, Pierre, who literally fell out the sky while parachuting as a member of the SkyHawks, Canadian Forces Parachute Demonstration Team, because he was lost and needed a ride. I bet you didn't know she could speak Korean. Regardless of Pam's travels, she has organized and worked with volunteers in a myriad of capacities from Special Olympics, celebrity baseball games, children's theater groups, and DARE programs to hospitality for Army luncheons. She has received a number of awards and commendations for her work with volunteers. Pam has special talents that we look forward to integrating into the Four Seasons Social Committee. Coming soon… First Friday TGIF – Karaoke (Nov. 1); Fall Arts & Crafts Show (Nov. 2); Wednesday Bingo Nights (Nov. 6, 13, 20, 27); Serenade in Elegance: An Evening of Piano Enchantment (Nov. 9); Sunday Brunch (Nov. 10), Third Annual Power Outage (Nov. 28); Open Session Board Meeting (Dec.11). Social Committee Sights from the raucous and fun at the Jimmy Buett Tribute Concert Pam McIntyre
