| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | NOVEMBER 2024 | 23
The Ladies Club continues to have
afternoon fun. We had an Ice Cream Sundae
Social (including all the toppings,) along
with socializing. We played three different
table games. The winners took home some
fun prizes. All our Ladies were winners just
being part of a cheerful-energized club.
At our September meeting, we
collaborated with the Paw Club. The
program was a presentation by the Hemet
Police with Corporal Luke Tabor and his
partner K-9 Duke, a Bloodhound. This
was a very interesting, informative,
and educational event. We learned and
witnessed Duke's performance of his ability
in tracking human scent. Our enthusiastic
member Linda Elliott volunteered to be
tracked by Duke among 40 other ladies in
the room. The presentation showed us just
how vital Duke can be in assisting fellow
officers. Duke and Corporal Luke were
presented a with gifts of thank you. Duke
received two new blankets.
Our lives have gone through a lot of
changes in the last four years. Ladies Club
has also had to change and
continue to create a welcoming
place to relax stay positive
and have fun, and to put our
worries to rest even if just for
a few hours.
Progress and renew are a
challenge we accept as a Ladies
Club. The new year is almost
upon us and we have a few
surprises for the club. We have
ideas and welcome ideas that
will rejuvenate and revitalize
our club to meet the needs
of all our ladies within our
community.
Four Seasons has always been known as a
community that you can be as active as you
wish. Our Ladies Club will provide the same
both high energy activities and community
bound activities, meeting the needs for all
our senior ladies. Look for next month's
newsletter for more information on our
exciting new chapter for the Four Seasons
Ladies Club.
Our next meeting is Mon., Nov. 25 at 1:30
om in the Ballroom. We welcome you and
any guest you would like to bring along.
