TOYS FOR TOTS

The Colony Elf is excited to see the Toys for Tots box being filled
with your gifts for Southwest Riverside County's needy children.
The box is available for your convenience in the Clubhouse Lobby
until Sunday, Dec. 15.
Because the toy distribution begins in early December and
continues until Christmas, we must adhere to the dates requested
of us. We are halfway to our collection date, so you still have time
to help fill the box. Let's make this holiday special for as many kids
as we can!
Southwest Riverside County Marine Corps League and the U. S.
Marine Corps Reserve appreciate your gifts of unwrapped toys for
children of all ages. In the past, this effort has not only provided
some joy during the holidays, but also sends a message of hope,
which can motivate children to grow into responsible, productive,
patriotic citizens and community leaders.
Last year, through the generosity of the Colony residents, we
collected two SUVs full of toys, and this year we would like to
surpass that number. The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is an
IRS-RECOGNIZED 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit public charity. Thank
you from the kids and have a happy and merry Christmas holiday!
