Stevens - 751; Del Mitchum - 742; Gregg Ross - 732; and Pam Vliss - 285. Golf Course Foreclosure, Appellate Court Update: Legal Counsel is still awaiting the date for oral arguments regarding the foreclosure appeal. Fraudulent Conveyance: On Oct. 11, Majestic filed a Notice of Appeal to the Fraudulent Conveyance judgment. The would not appeal if they won. They have 60-days to submit their opening brief. Glenn Bosworth v. e Colony HOA: Homeowner Glenn Bosworth filed a lawsuit against The Colony HOA and other parties to invalidate the vote to purchase the golf course and Article 20. Golf Course Update: The first half of September was hot and the golf course was running at 40 percent down. October is trending better due to the cooler weather and they are expecting a better performance than last year. On Nov. 2, the golf course will be hosting their first Disc Golf Tournament. Residents are encouraged to use the Nutmeg or Cal Oaks gates during this time. Prohibiting Parking in Front of Mailboxes: The Board will be looking into prohibiting parking in front of the mailboxes throughout the Colony. An upcoming amendment to Article 4 will be discussed at the next meeting. Cancellation of City of Murrieta Candidates Forum: Canceled because only two candidates confirmed and the response did not allow enough time to hold the event in a timely manner. Upcoming Association Events: • Health and Safety Fair, Oct. 18 • Craft Fair, Nov. 9 • Salute to Veterans, Nov. 11 • Nov. 21 General Board Meeting, 5 pm October 2024 Golf Course Subsidy Request: Approved subsidy request in the amount of $33,096. Increased cost was due to sprinkler and valve repairs on the course. Approval of the August 2024 Treasurer's Report: Approved as presented. Total Colony Operating and Reserve funds were $5,716,601. Reserve Study Update - Level 3: Authorized Advance Reserve Solutions to perform a Level 3 Reserve Study Update without a site visit at a cost not to exceed $3,675.00. Soware Acquisition: Approved CATCOM request to purchase a Microsoft 365 subscription with a reoccurring subscription of $99 per year and a one-time license download for DaVinci Resolve Studio for $295. Purchase Field Cameras - Tabled: Tabled the purchase of the 2 Canon XA75 Video Cameras at this time to include them in the future Phase II of the Audio/Video Project. Website Path Forward: Approved putting a hold on further development of the current website to revisit ways to deliver an improved resident portal for current residents and a better marketing website for potential residents: 1. Staff to research cost to hire a technical consultant to look at website, implement improvements and work with (train) website team. 2. Revisit PCM/Associa website "templates" that are being used at other communities. 3. Hybrid of 1 and 2 above. New Paint Book and Color Options, Architectural Control Committee: Approved the Architectural Control Committee's new paint book and color options. Committee will write an article for e Colony News Magazine communicating the changes to the residents. Revised Vision, Mission and Values: Approved the revised Vision, Mission and Values Statement for the association. Golf Cart Parking Recommendation: Authorized Management to review the concerns regarding golf cart parking in the Clubhouse parking lot for possible solutions.
