QUILTERS
It's almost Christmas and the Solera Quilters are busy making wonderful things: Pot holders, place mats, table runners, pillows, quilts.
The list goes on. Our members will have their annual luncheon and gift exchange at Linda DiGiovanni's house. It's exciting because
although all the items are new, we do it like a white elephant exchange. You get to steal someone else's when it's your turn! It's always the
highlight of the day and results in a lot of laughs (and a few groans if you get robbed!).
Hi all — creativity comes off the hands of our Knit and Crochet members. In the pics
is Rafea who always amazes us with her beautiful knit garments, Janet with her colorful
crochet project, and Donna with her beautiful crocheted shawl. As the year ends, we were
the recipients of a huge amount of gifted yarn. So anyone interested in giving knitting or
crocheting a try, come visit us. We have free yarn and needles for you to try out this craft. We
are in the Arts & Crafts Room from 10 am to 12 noon on Thursdays. Hope everyone has a
wonderful holiday season and ready to move into 2025!
