Happy Holidays from the Library
We now have our Christmas books on display on the left side of the
main display bookshelf as you walk down the hallway by the library.
There are a number of short novels as well as books on cooking,
poetry, crafts, and decorating for the holidays. Take some home to
share with your family.
We continue to need donations of new books (published within the
last five years). We are a "Current Reading Library" with very limited
space so please carefully select your donations and place them in
labeled bags to distinguish them from the books being returned
after reading. Place the labeled donation bag in the baskets by the
fireplace not on the floor. We have one of our volunteers who stops by
the library each day for about an hour to put the return books away
and to review new donations that come in. Contact me if you have
lots of books to donate. We have volunteers that can help you find a
new home for your books. Do not leave bags or boxes on the floor
since we don't want anyone to fall or trip on them. For safety reasons
they are likely to be removed to our recycle trash bin.
Many thanks to those of you who have been giving us new
magazines. Our members like to grab a magazine while working out
at the gym. ~ Denise Westcott, Librarian; an email or text is the
