Happy Holidays and Merry MahJongg! We are
looking forward to the final OHCC MahJongg
Club social on Dec. 19. We will gather together
for a fellowship and lunch. Our club has received
room reservations for our 2025 quarterly social
events. The dates are as follows: March 22 –
American MahJongg Tournament; July 24 – Club Social; Oct. 3 –
Membership Meeting and Club Social; Dec. 18 – Holiday Social.
Other rooms that have been reserved for the club have been
confirmed as follows:
• Mondays 1 to 5 pm: Table setups on first come, first served basis
• Thursdays 3 to 5 pm: Novice Skill Level (Drora Oren to
coordinate)
• Thursdays 6 to 8 pm: Seasoned Skill Level (Christi Abshier to
coordinate)
• Saturdays 1 to 3 pm: Table setups for practice and to meet new
players
Note: Basic Classes will use this reservation in April, July and
August.
The new Board of Directors met in November to organize and plan
for 2025. We look forward to the new year – Lunar Year of the Snake.

Our club has had a very busy month learning, competing, and
socializing around the tables. We always welcome new players
to join us on Tuesdays from 5 to 7:30 pm and on select Fridays
(second, fourth, and fifth) from 1 to 4:30 pm. Please email the club

I would like to mention that we lost a very faithful and excellent
bridge player this past month; Joan Gayer passed away at age 91. She
was very active with the duplicate club and loved the Friday night
happy hours! Joan had lived here in Ocean Hills since 1996. Written
