Here is a sneak peek at what is to come. Starting in early January there will be an opportunity to purchase anniversary t-shirts. Stay tuned for more information in the Daily Report on design, sizing and pricing! On Feb. 7 there will be a presentation in The Lodge Ballroom. We will be celebrating 20 years strong, with guest speakers, pictures from the past and exciting, interesting story telling. On March 29, we invite the community to take part in Four Seasons Corks, Clicks and Canvases celebrating 20 years, through photography along with mixed media images. This event will have a live jazz band, wine, and gourmet appetizers. In the January 2025 issue of the Breeze, the Recognition Committee will present its completed calendar of events for the year. The Recognition Committee would like to extend our warmest wishes for a wonderful holiday season ~ Regina Farmer Landscape Committee FOR A JOB WELL DONE. It was October of 2020. Covid protocols were in effect. Masks were the norm in everyday life. Our community facilities were closed. Life as we knew it had taken a pause. It was a trying time for all of us, to say the least. There was one group of workers, however, who remained a constant in our community — our Park West Landscaping Crew. During that time an idea was born. Let's recognize those who are working hard for us and thank them for their commitment to keeping Four Seasons beautiful. I contacted two friends to see if they wanted to help me with a project. A simple project. We would buy a few snacks and provide a goody bag for each Park West worker. Judy Jacobson and Myrtis Suggs were on the job! We shopped (thanks Amazon) and then met in Judy's backyard, masks donned, and filled small lunch bags to the brim. The bags were distributed days later (with help from Myrtis' husband, Dave). We had so much fun and the event was well- received. We decided to make this an annual event. In 2022, we added another friend to the group, Linda Miller, and also found the need for much larger bags with all the treats we were collecting. A couple of weeks ago we held our Fifth Annual Landscapers' Appreciation event. We had another awesome time with smiles all around. Never underestimate the joy a simple act of kindness and appreciation can bring. The crew was happy to be recognized. The warm fuzzies it gave us were worth their weight in gold. ~ Tina Canon
