FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | DECEMBER 2024 9 December is ready to blow out the year with more holiday fun than you can handle, starting with the Four Seasons Annual Holiday Extravaganza Show with performances on your choice of Dec. 6 or 7 at 6 pm, or Dec. 8 at 2 pm. Tickets are available at The Lodge front desk. The name of the show is e Grinch Explains it All. It's a wacky twist on the Dr. Seuss holiday classic with an opening performance by the Four Seasons Choir. You're going to love this show and the resident actors are incredibly talented! Little favors and sweet treats will be served at each performance. There is no cost to attend; however, there are only four tickets per household and you must have tickets to get in. The Neighborhood Lighting Competition and Golf Cart Parade will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 11. The golf cart line-up at The Lodge will be at 5:30 pm, the cart judging will be at 5:45 pm, and the parade will take off at 6 pm. That means that you will need to have your house lights on if you want to be in the Neighborhood Lighting Competition. Please sign up at The Lodge so we can make a listing of all the homes in the competition; we don't want to miss you! We will also be creating a "People's Judging Ballot" that everyone can fill out, so pick one up starting Tuesday, Dec. 3 and have them back into The Lodge by Monday, Dec. 16. On Thursday, Dec. 12 are the ever-gorgeous harmonies of the Holiday Bell Choir Concert. This has become a holiday tradition in the last several years, that just puts the beauty and inspiration into the season. The concert starts on Dec. 12 at 6 pm. Refreshments will be provided. There is no price to attend and all are welcome. I know that every club, group, and class is having a holiday party in our three facilities and there will be several big galas as well; however, you don't want to miss the Community Hanukah Show with a dessert reception. This is going to be a hilariously entertaining show for the whole community. There will be audience sing-alongs and a comedy program like nothing you've ever seen before! Show tickets are free, but required to attend, and they will be available starting Tuesday, Dec. 10. The show takes place on Sunday, Dec. 22 in the Ballroom at 5 pm, doors open at 4:30 pm. The grand finale of the entire holiday is New Year's Eve, and the Social Committee has that planned out to a tee; what a glamorous affair that's going to be. Check out all the details in their article. Well folks, we've had an incredible year! I wish you all a happy, peaceful, and positive holiday. You guys should know that you are the best holiday gifts I've ever had the privilege to enjoy. I heard a saying that I think of this time of year that goes, "If you think my hands are full, you should see my heart!" Thank you for the hugs, the encouragement, and all of the love and support you give me and the staff. We can't thank you enough. This is the most loving, kind and impressive neighborhood I know of… yes, there is a teeny tiny percent of folks that I call in jest, "The black velvet upon which the diamonds lie," but the sparkle and shine that comes from most everyone else is blindingly wonderful! I love you and may 2025 be surprisingly the best year you've ever had! ~ Cindy Graves Activities Director's Report
