The Holiday Season is upon us, and our final trip of 2024 is one
for the books! On Dec. 11, we're heading to the Riverside Mission
Inn Festival of Lights, a holiday event known for its spectacular
display of over 4.5 million twinkling lights. This enchanting
spectacle transforms the historic Mission Inn into a breathtaking
winter wonderland, with 400 animated figures adding charm and
magic to the festive atmosphere. As we stroll along the decorated
streets, we'll be serenaded by carolers filling the air with nostalgic
holiday songs. The joyful voices of these performers add warmth to
the evening, making it a truly special experience.
After enjoying the Festival of Lights, we'll cap off the night with
a cozy dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory. Known for its inviting
ambiance and classic Italian fare, it's the perfect spot to relax, warm
up, and ref lect on the sights we've seen. A meal here is a fitting end
to our festive outing, with delicious options for everyone to enjoy.
Please note, we will not hold our monthly meeting in December,
but we'll be back in January. Our first trip in 2025 is set for Jan. 15,
when we'll visit the Natural History Museum for a day of exploration.

wing, filled with fresh displays and exciting discoveries. For more
