e Soulful Journey of Patrice Morris Patrice Morris is a gied vocalist and songwriter who has captivated audiences worldwide with her powerful soprano voice. She began her musical journey singing in church at ve years old. is early start blossomed into a versatile career in Gospel, Jazz, R&B/Motown, and POP music. Born in 1958 in Jackson, Mississippi, Patrice grew up in a singing family with four brothers and one sister. She attended Tougaloo College in Mississippi where she met her husband, Kenneth Morris. Patrice majored in music and Kenneth majored in Journalism. ey have been married for 45 years and have three adult children and three grandchildren. Patrice Morris, a talented solo artist, songwriter, and vocal coach, has released four Gospel CDs and two singles. She operates PKM Music Corp. with her husband and manager, Kenneth Morris. Currently working on new music, Patrice's gospel single He Gave Us Life and her gospel CD All My Praise are available on YouTube. Patrice's impressive career includes performing studio background vocals for Michael Jackson and Christina Aguilera. She has also shared the stage with legends like Peabo Bryson, Oleta Adams, and Taylor Dayne. Notably, Patrice assembled and led a 26-voice choir that backed Mariah Carey during a TV special lmed at Mariah's Los Angeles home. In 2008, Patrice joined the iconic singing group the 5th Dimension, known for hits like Up, Up and Away, Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In, Stoned Soul Picnic, and Last Night I Didn't Get to Sleep at All. Her soulful vocals, leadership, coaching abilities, and energetic stage presence contribute to the group's continued success.
