THE YIDDISH CULTURE CLUB WELCOMES ALL RESIDENTS OF ANY DENOMINATION
Please join the YCC as we close out the year with a huge celebration
of Hanukkah catered by Manhattan in the Desert – Deli sandwiches
(corned beef, pastrami and turkey) on rye, various salads, potato
latkes with applesauce and sour cream, coleslaw, pickles, and jelly
donuts. Entertainment: Perry Goldstein will lead us in Hanukkah
songs along with a trivia game called "Name that Jew."
$25 pp member/$30 pp guest. Payment due by Dec. 11. Please
deliver your check made out to the YCC to the home of Denny
Rugenstein 5022 Hilton Head.
Please join us in lighting the menorah. Beginning with the
ancient Israelites, the light of the Torah has guided us throughout
our history, including many dark times. We will light the menorah
in front of the Main Clubhouse on Dec. 25 at 4:45 pm. There will be
brief prayers in observance of the actual holiday start.
YCC will present Dueling Pianos on Jan. 16, 2025 in the Main
Clubhouse. More information to follow but calendar this evening
since you will not want to miss out on the fun!
