The Makua Hula Hawaiian Dancers wish you a joyful Christmas season. We look forward to performing at the Christmas Tree Lighting on Mon., Dec. 2. We appreciate the LEGS golf group for inviting Makua to dance at your Christmas Luncheon. Anyone interested in learning more about Hawaiian Hula dancing are welcomed to join the Makua Hula Dancers every Wednesday from 10 am to 12 pm at the North Clubhouse. No previous dance experience is necessary. Doors open at 4:45 pm. The sign up to attend the December ICC Dinner Dance is Dec. 5 at 4 pm at the South Clubhouse. Meal selection will be made when you sign up. The choices for the three course dinner price is members, $30 and for guests, $32. The music for the evening will be by the American Made Group. Easy listening during dinner, then a variety of music to entice us to get up and dance. Rene Riviera continues to give lessons beginning at 4:45 pm, just prior to the dinner, and be our dance host during the evening for those who would like to whirl around the dance f loor with our professional dancer, Rene. Come join the lessons, relax, and have fun and dance with our pro! In November, we had our annual meeting and a membership drive for 2025. Our membership dues for 2025 will remain $25. The membership dues pay for the monthly bands. We want to encourage everyone to re-join and also to bring a friend or friends to join the ICC Club. As an incentive for our membership, we are offering current members a free dinner when they bring a new member to ICC. A try-before-you-buy opportunity is available for Sun Lakes residents who have not been members in the past. Give yourself a gift — come join us for a night of fun, good food and relaxation. If you miss signing up, contact Donna Leone at (951) 797-0832, or Ann Hoefert at (909) 553-3292 no later than the following Sunday afternoon. If you are unable to attend the event after signing up, you can request a take-out meal box. Contact Ann Hoefert no later than 2 pm on the day of the event and she will plan for you to pick up your meal in the Bus Room at 7 pm on the night of the event.
