20 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JANUARY 2025 | Happy Campers RV Club Happy Campers meet the rst Saturday of the month. Join us at 10 am in the Multipurpose Room. It's so hard to believe it's 2025 already. We had so many good times in 2024. From our annual trip to Quartzite AZ, our California Coastal Cruise in March, Bonelli Blus in May, our East Coast Cruise in October and our week at Coachella Lakes in November. Our next trip planned is to Quartzite, AZ, Jan. 23-28. We will be going to Bonelli Blus again in May. Join us on Jan. 4 to help plan our next adventure. If you are thinking of buying an RV check with us rst, there may be a member selling one. No RV? No problem. Some members stay in cabins and others rent RVs. We welcome all who love to camp or glamp. See you soon and Happy Camping! As we begin a New Year, we oen reect on past times, and past loved ones. Dec. 8, 2024 marked 83 years on the calendar of President Roosevelt's 'Day of Infamy' speech. Pictured here is a quilt, lovingly made by member Janet Swindell symbolizing the strength of our Nation when under re. Noting the plaque on the wall behind the photo, 'Pray Big, Trust God, Stress Less & Have Faith' is an excellent message to begin the New Year of 2025. As we end 2024, we leave you with another member's Christmas Santa spirit. Created and quilted by Diane Best, this festive quilt (below le) leaves our hearts full of wonder and Make Believe. Also pictured is Cleta Colston's beautiful design of so pinks and bright fuchsia highlights (below right). January marks the beginning of our fourth year together. As we select our rst project quilt design, one thing remains certain: Quilters who quilt together stay together! We meet every ursday, (except the fourth ursday) in the Arts & Cras Room from 10 am to 4 pm breaking for lunch at the Bistro at 12:30 pm. In January, we will meet Jan. 2, 9, 16, and 30.
