26 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JANUARY 2025 | Golf Cart Club: e Holiday golf cart parade was held by the Golf Cart Club on Sat., Dec. 14. e cart review/social hour/tree lighting all took place in the roundabout in front of e Lodge. e social hour (actually 45 minutes), gave the residents an opportunity to check out the carts up close and chat with friends and neighbors and catch the tree lighting and still make the concert later that evening. e carts reected the creativity and crasmanship of our residents and were really remarkable. e parade is always a lot of fun! Tracie Rodgers placed maps of the parade route at e Lodge's front desk so that the residents could provide some holiday cheer as the carts drove through the community. Flag Angels: e Flag Angels put up ags along Four Seasons Boulevard and World Cup Drive for Pearl Harbor Day on Dec. 7. Susan Gaites has volunteered to participate in the Flag Angel program as a substitute. Welcome! A couple of months ago, I promised that I would highlight each of the "Flag Angels" in the Herald over the next few months. is month, Hank Schultz is featured. Hank has been placing ags for over three years. He moved from San Diego to Four Seasons in 2009. His route covers the area north of hole #13. Hank was a substitute for a few years and, when I needed to replace one of the Angels, Hank volunteered to take a permanent route. If you know or recognize this Angel, give him a well-deserved "thank you" the next time you see Hank. e Flag Angels ranks are constantly changing. We have lost a number of angels due to assorted reasons. I have been able to replace those angels but most of the substitutes were "used up" in this process. If anyone is interested in being a Flag Angel, I could still use a volunteer or two as substitutes.
