| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JANUARY 2025 | 27 We had a great year and are excited about 2025. We put on three plays in 2024: Four Seasons Players Comedy Night, two one-act plays, e Last Comedienne and e Garage Sale of Amazing Items directed by Zalmai Roashan; Ripcord directed by Chuck Sims; and Savannah Sipping Society directed by Sandy Tiffin. The average attendance of the three shows was 172 people. There will be three plays in 2025, March 22, June 15, and Oct. 18. Two have been selected, Let's Murder Martha, a farcical comedy to be directed by Dick English; Drinking Habits, a farcical comedy, Director TBD. Six plays have been read so far by members of the Performance Selection Committee, Victoria Danner, Sandy "Pita" Lubbers Garces, Kristine Chilcote, and Zalmai Roashan. The Committee expects to announce the third play in February. The Club was very excited to welcome three new members and the Jazz@4Band in 2024, ending the year with 37 members. Paul Lavigne joined in January, recording videos of our productions beginning in June, and writing our monthly articles for the Herald beginning in August. Alice Gilbert joined in March; she was one of the four ladies acting in her first play in the Savannah Sipping Society. Roberta Fiegenbaum joined in June as our Sound Designer/Composer, starting with the Savannah Sipping Society. Club member David Tuvim's Jazz@4 Band, began playing before our performances and at intermissions beginning in February. Ross Brunetto and Victoria Danner retired from the Club after 10 years as handling Sound and Lights, and three years as President respectively, significantly impacting the Club's performances and operations for many years. The Club reorganized for 2025 when Victoria Danner decided to leave the Club, leading to a significant effort to plan the Club's future. For the first time, all the volunteer members' tasks and positions necessary for the success of the Club were identified. There were 16 members who volunteered for 22 positions. We're very pleased that Sandy "Pita" Lubbers Garces and Sandy Tiffin continue as Recorder and Treasurer respectively for another year. Dick English, one of our longest serving, most active members serves in the new position of Vice-Leader and Leader. Three other members serve along with the officers as Members at Large, Kristine Chilcote, Noreen Scott and Paul Lavigne, forming a new Leadership Team. As this is being published, we are still seeking a Leader and individuals to prepare our tickets and playbills.
