| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JANUARY 2025 | 3 General Manager's Message By Rick Ruth, CMCA Happy New Year! I hope all of you were able to spend time with friends and family during this holiday season. The Lodge was beautifully decorated by Karen Hikel, JoAnn Sopata and her many volunteers. A big thank you to all who volunteered their time and a special thanks goes to our Facility Maintenance Coordinator, Tim Gross. Tim is responsible for getting the dozen plus trees out of storage and climbs the ladder to get them assembled for the decorators. We hope you had a chance to bring your family members to The Lodge to see the beautifully decorated trees and arrangements. As I write this, it's with mixed emotions as it is my final article to all of you. I'm thankful to have worked with such an awesome group of people. There are so many residents and committee members to thank but there just isn't enough space! Please know that I'll enjoy the interactions with you as a fellow neighbor until our home rebuild is completed. January kicks off the year for many things that relate to managing your association. The first thing is you have a new General Manager! His name is Jonathan Payne and he is a CMCA certified manager. I've been able to spend some time with him to help get acclimated to our day to day operations. He may have already met some of you and if not, stop by the office and welcome him to our family. A couple items worth mentioning are the upcoming annual meeting and the fiscal year-end financial audit report both scheduled for April. This month and next, you will receive information on the Board elections and in March, the Notice of Election for the Annual Meeting will be mailed out. This year, three positions are up for election. As always, your vote and submitting your Ballot is necessary to achieve quorum for the election. More to come. Lastly, our staff family and I hope that you had a peaceful holiday season with your friends and loved ones and we hope that this year brings good health for all.
