| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JANUARY 2025 | 63 Executive Men's Golf Wishing all Sun Lakes residents a Happy and Prosperous New Year 2025 from The Executive Men's Golf Club. We are excited to begin our 25th year of fun, camaraderie, and a new Board of Directors (see picture at right). Come join us! Dues are only $30 for the year. We are open to all male Sun Lakes residents and all levels of players (beginners to experienced). We play every Friday morning on the SCGA rated Executive Course. Membership forms are available in the North Clubhouse Pro Shop or on the EMGC website. You can also contact our membership chairman Mike Volz at (818) 310-1950. We are very happy that Larry Ellis, Don Fleming, and Jack McElwain have joined the Executive Men's Golf Club Board for the 2025-2027 term. They will join David Amar, Jon Litty, Michael Volz, and David Kealy guiding The Club into our 25th year as an organized golf club in Sun Lakes. We do have an open position on the Board, if interested, please contact Mike Volz at (818) 310-1950. Ladies Executive Golf Happy New Year to everyone! Last year was a banner year for our club because of all the new members who joined. We had a lot of participation in all the events that we sponsored and we made a lot of new golfing friends along the way. We hope that 2025 will bring us more new members and fun memories from all the events we have planned. We ended the year with our festive Holiday Luncheon for our members with a delicious meal catered by our favorite caterer, Gourmet Your Way. Our Social Chairpersons, Connie Winter and Patricia Echelberger along with their committee did an outstanding job of decorating the tables. Our members also enjoyed the entertainment provided by the Makua Hula Dancers in their festive costumes and dances. At the luncheon we announced the 2024 LEGS Club Champion and the Individual Flight Champions and presented them with their trophies. We also presented our new Board to the members for 2025: President, Gayle Bilek; Vice-President, Bea Mercado; Secretary, Valerie Villareal; and Treasurer, Linda Spaulding. Appointed committee members were also introduced. The outgoing Board members were thanked for their hard work and effort in bringing new ideas forward and for improving the efficiency in our club management.
