Remer Donald Martin passed away peacefully in his home
on November 13, 2024.
Don spent 40 years in International Oil and Shipping Companies in
New York, Los Angeles, Bermuda and Honolulu. He received the Merchant
Mariners of WWII Congressional Gold Medal.
Don lived a wonderful life, and he loved living in the Sun Lakes
community. He enjoyed many years with family and friends playing golf,
Bocce, 8-ball club, poker and Canasta.
Don is survived by his wife of 46 years, Claudia, their seven children: Doug
Martin, West Martin, Tracey Martin, Glen Martin, Renae Wenzel, Robert
Smith and Michael Smith; 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the South Clubhouse in Sun Lakes on
Sat., Jan. 25 at 1 pm.
