Wine Club
The Sun Lakes Wine Club had its last 2024
event in November. Over 140 members and
guests were in attendance.
The evening started with everyone being
handed a glass of Prosecco as they walked
into the Ballroom to the music of Jazz
Saxophonist and Grammy Award winner
Walle Larssen, serenading us the whole
evening!
Each table of eight guests was provided
with six bottles of wine selected by the Sun
Lakes Wine Steward, our own Letty!
Three white wines and three red
wines — they were delicious! Our
dinner was served promptly by the
Sun Lakes Restaurant staff. Diners
got to choose either salmon or prime
rib, with all the fixings.
The club raff led off one bottle of
each of the six wines served, and
then the grand prize was a Jeroboam-
sized bottle of Red wine, donated
by Board Member Gary Burkel and
Nora Burkel. The evening closed
with Walle Larssen "kicking it up" and
inviting everyone onto the dance f loor. All
in all, a wonderful evening.

Our next event is Wed., Feb. 26. It will be
at the North Clubhouse and be limited to
about 80 people. So, add it to your calendar
now, and be on the lookout for details soon.
