Caregiver Support Group
Happy New Year! I wish each of you a happy and healthy 2025.
Our next meeting and support group will be on Thursday the 16th
at 10 am in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. There is no
guest speaker this month.
The education portion of our meeting will be: "How to find, hire
and manage home care." Among the many subjects covered are
how to pay for home care, questions to ask before hiring a home care
agency, questions to ask before hiring an independent caregiver,
and how to know if a caregiver is doing a good job.
Don't forget about the program we have in the Main Clubhouse
Arts & Crafts Room while you are at the meeting. We care for and
entertain your loved one. We play games, do exercises, and have
live entertainment. We do just about anything and everything to
keep your loved one happy while you can relax and learn at the
meeting. Thank you to Tin Man's Heart (Lee and Michael Stone)
who entertained and made our holiday gathering such a pleasant
and enjoyable morning. They have been so generous with their
time and talent to entertain us a few times this past year. We hope
to see them many more times in 2025. This month we are happy
to have Paul Alloway entertaining us. Paul always brings another
talented person with him. We look forward to this months surprise
entertainers.
