| LIFE IN SOLERA | JANUARY 2025 | 39 GOLF CLUB December brought us our combined Annual Member Meeting and Christmas Party. Looking at the meeting side of the equation was the vote by acclamation for this year's Solera Golf Club Board of Directors. Those donating their time to lead the club this year are: Stan Whitesel, President; Gary Stange, Vice President; Kelly Bock, Secretary; Brenda Stange, Treasurer; Jim Parker, Tournament Chair; Tony Smith, Member- at-Large; Merele Chapman, Member-at- Large; and Richard Crowe, Immediate Past President. The Christmas Party was catered by Thomas Catering and the dinner menu consisted of Chicken Cordon Bleu, salad, bread, garlic mashed potatoes, and mixed veggies. For dessert there was cake, pies, and ice cream which was provided by golf club member Ed Young. Thank you, Ed. Marty Anderson provided the music for our listening and dancing pleasure. The club also sold raffle tickets and had a drawing for the prizes donated from local businesses. This year the club raised a total of $1,010 dollars for Carol's Kitchen in addition to a handful of toys that were donated by various club members! We ask that you please patronize the local businesses listed below who donated prizes for our raffle. I'm sure they'd appreciate being thanked for their donation.
