FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2025 5 Message from the Board The Board of Directors and our FirstService Management Team hope that our residents had a happy and safe holiday season. Our new HOA dues went into effect on Jan. 1, 2025. For our residents who pay by "click pay or your bank," it is time to adjust the amount to ref lect the new dues. We recently had some mailbox thefts. The post office has changed the locks and master key to those boxes, and our residents are able to have their mail delivered to the Four Seasons boxes on our property again. A check with the Beaumont Police showed that in the past 90 days there were three reports of mailbox thefts, none at Four Seasons. Hopefully, we won't have any more mailbox thefts here, but if we do, please report the theft to the police department and contact our management team headed by Eric Zarr. In a recent meeting with City Manager Elizabeth Gibbs, she indicated that several of our non-working streetlights on Forked Run, Point Park, Song Bird, and Nesting Bird have been repaired. If you notice any of our streetlights out, contact Eric or his management team. Eric will contact the proper city department and report the outage. The city is planning on the widening of 1st Street from Pennsylvania to Beaumont Avenue from two lanes to four lanes of traffic. This is going to be a two- to three-year project. We checked with the City of Beaumont as to who is responsible for maintenance of fire hydrants in Four Seasons. We were advised that our local water district is responsible and Eric will contact the water district to verify maintenance. The Oak Valley Village will have major retail once their application is received and reviewed. A grocery store and a major retail outlet is in the works. The businesses cannot be named until the agreements are in place with the outlets and the City of Beaumont. This shopping center will include several fast food restaurants, a sporting goods store, and a gas station. The project is scheduled to break ground in 2025 and open in 2027. The Beaumont Pointe Warehouse Project, which was approved by the Beaumont Planning Commission and the City Council, was on the LAFCO agenda for review of the land to be annexed into the City of Beaumont. If approved, the Beaumont Pointe development will have access to the sewer system in Beaumont. Additional information will be reported in the Breeze magazine. The Board meets on the second Thursday of each month at 1 pm in the Ballroom. "Meet with the Board" is a more informal setting on the third Wednesday of each month at 2 pm in the Ballroom. This forum allows Board members to engage in conversation with residents on almost any subject except for confidential issues under litigation or topics discussed in Executive Session of the Board. Several Board members are in attendance each month. If you have any questions, please contact me at (951) 212-8898 or email at jmonahan.fsb@gmail.com. By Jerry Monahan, Board President
