FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2025 49 What an honor it has been to be the leader of such an amazing group of Godly women for all these years! As we begin our 12th year together in "Believe…" Women's Bible Study, I can honestly say it has been a joyful ride. Some of the women who joined the class at its inception, subsequently moved out of Four Seasons, found other interests in which to spend precious time, or consistently participated and supported this endeavor all these years. Thank you to each one of you — I love you dearly! We topped off 2024 with a fabulous Christmas party themed "Sparkly and Shiny." The members were asked to wear something that suggested the theme, and they did. It was a sparkly/shiny masterpiece. All the ladies contributed to the potluck, of course, with their yummy homemade selections. We had a delightful time visiting and sharing during the meal, after which we held our traditional gift exchange. Last, we were challenged to a great game. Since 62 ladies are listed as members on our roster, the challenge was to write the first names of each of the women in attendance at the party, and even some who were not there. Sounds daunting, right? (The winner will be announced later, just to keep you in suspense.) As we begin another year, I have been yearning to teach once again about Jesus Christ. Today I asked some of the ladies how they would feel about interrupting our study of Jeremiah to study Matthew, Mark, and Luke in the New Testament. (Of course, over the years we have referred many times to the stories and messages in these three books, but I have not formally taught them.) Called the Synoptic Gospels, these three books are similar in structure, content and wording, and can be compared side by side, yet each has its own unique content. The ladies agreed. Any of you amazing Four Seasons ladies who would like to participate in studying these three books with us, please come join us on Jan. 3 of this beautiful new year to study about Jesus Christ, our Savior, Lord and King!
