Please note in parentheses is the Committee that generated the proposal and then stating either an Operational expense, which comes from this year's dues, or a Reserve expense: • River Rock at the Springdale Gazebos - $10,824.76 (Landscape/Operational) • Website Upgrade - not to exceed $500 (Communications & Management/Operational) By Eric Zarr, email eric.zarr@fsresidential.com, or call/text (909) 991-8337 BOARD OF DIRECTORS DAY TIME Executive Session 1/9 9a General Session 1/9 1p Committee Chairs 1/6 10a COMMITTEES DAY TIME Architectural Review 1/6, 15 8:30a Canine Corral Council 1/2 10a Communications 1/2 10a Community Planning Dark 9a Conservancy 1/23 8a Facilities 1/8 9a Finance 1/28 1p Landscape 1/21 1p Safety (includes EPC) 1/7 10a Social 1/7 1p Meetings The Pass Action Group (PAG) held a Town Hall meeting on Nov. 17 at Sun Lakes. Over 200 supporters of the PAG attended the meeting to hear the status. The Sun Lakes Board of Directors spoke about the victory the PAG had in stopping the Banning Point project from going forward. The Town Hall was broadcast on Sun Lakes Channel 97 and included what the developer's options are. The developer has until Jan. 6, 2025 to file a suit in Superior Court. Should the developer choose to file suit, their action would be against the City of Banning. The PAG would not be a party to the lawsuit. The attorneys for the PAG would only monitor the case in order to protect Sun Lakes. The PAG Board and their supporters have worked hard and for now their work is done. The Board of Directors will continue to monitor any court proceedings in order to protect their position. The PAG does not plan to meet regularly as they have for the past three years and does not plan to actively fund raise including their online fund-raiser portal. Ms. Dorrie Gartzke was honored with f lowers and recognized as the "Person of the Year" for implementation of her recycle program that raised $30,000. It took a lot of community residents to come together and save the Beaumont/Banning area from the construction of the warehouse project. The monthly coverage of the PAG in our Breeze magazine will end with this month's article in the hope that no further action is taken by the developer in court. The Beaumont Pointe Warehouse was on the LAFCO agenda on Dec. 5. The review and the decision will be available after the date the Breeze requires for articles to be turned in for the next month's release to the printer. More information will be made available as it becomes available. The 2nd Street expansion to Pennsylvania is currently out for bid. However, California Fish and Game said the "Burrowing Owl" is on the "Do Not Touch List" and will hold up the project if it is determined that the "Burrowing Owl" is endangered. More information will be available at a later time. ~ Jerry Monahan, (951) 212-8898 Read the Breeze monthly for updates BEAUMONT POINTE & BANNING WAREHOUSE UPDATE WHO TO CALL If you see something suspicious, or a possible crime in progress, please call Beaumont PD.
