FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2025 59 Happy New Year, Pickleball Peeps! May your serves be sizzling, your volleys victorious, and your dinks drop dead gorgeous in the New Year. Speaking of awesome peeps, let's give a huge round of applause to our amazing Irma Peterson. After eight years + of keeping our pickleball club running like a well-oiled machine, and giving up tons of free time to do it, she's decided to take a well-deserved break from the steering committee. Irma, you're a legend. We can't thank you enough for your dedication and service to the Four Seasons Pickleball Club. And speaking of legendary, 2024 was a year of incredible growth for our Four Seasons Pickleball Club. Nancy Hessin's Saturday beginner/introduction sessions are packed with eager learners. Our courts are buzzing with action almost every day. It's been so much fun watching everyone's skills skyrocket – from newbies to seasoned players, everyone's bringing their A game to The Courts … so much FUN. I would like to give a special shout-out to all of the new members. And a big cheer to all of our members who are taking it to the next level and playing in off-campus tournaments. FYI, the tournament players have been extremely successful, and many have been bringing home the Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Well done. Check out the awesome photos below featuring some of our fabulous female players getting together to sharpen their skills and share some laughs. Don't worry men, keep your shirts on; for heaven's sake, please keep your shirts on. We will have pics of you in the next edition of the Breeze. What I truly love about pickleball – it's not just great exercise, it's a fantastic way to make friends and have a blast. P.S. I'm still waiting on those Christmas party pics, but I'm sure they'll be epic. Important Reminders: • Time to renew those memberships. Please hand your $25 to Carol Ward, Maggie Domico, or someone you trust to get it to them. In a pinch, I will even accept a $25 donation. • Don't forget to check out the kiosk by The Courts.
