Thank you for 2024! As the year comes to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our members for your continued support throughout the year. Thanks to you, we were able to create unforgettable memories, share exciting adventures, and build a sense of community that makes our Travel Group truly special. One of the highlights of this year was our spectacular holiday light show at The Mission Inn in Riverside — a perfect way to celebrate the season together. It was an evening filled with awe-inspiring displays, good company, and the magic of the holidays. Looking ahead, 2025 promises to be just as thrilling, with plenty of new experiences and exciting trips planned. While we won't be able to hold our usual January meeting due to the ongoing refurbishing of the ballroom, we're not letting that stop us! We're still kicking off the new year with one of our much-loved monthly excursions. Our first adventure will take us to the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles, where we'll have the chance to explore their newly opened wing. One of the highlights of this visit will be meeting the museum's newest resident — an amazing new dinosaur named Gnatalie. It's sure to be a fun and educational day for all! In February, we're heading to the Safari Park near San Diego. This promises to be an unforgettable experience, offering the chance to see wild animals up close and personal in a beautiful, natural setting. Whether it's the majestic lions or the playful giraffes, there's no better way to start the year than by experiencing the wonders of the animal kingdom. We will also be resuming our regular monthly meetings, starting with our first gathering on Feb. 15 at 10 am. We look forward to seeing you there, as we catch up on all our upcoming trips and share more exciting plans for 2025. Once again, thank you for being part of our Travel Group in 2024. Your enthusiasm and participation make all the difference, and we can't wait to continue exploring, learning, and creating memories together in the year ahead. Let's make 2025 another year of adventure! For more info on these trips or to reserve a seat, call Joni at (661) 390-5512. Simply, the "Seasoned Singles" group is open to single men and women residents of Four Seasons. We meet monthly and plan activities for single Four Seasons residents, but we are not a dating group. As November rolled around the Singles celebrated several birthdays for Joyce Burmester and Phyllis Kates. Joyce chose Apple Annie's for her birthday lunch and Phyllis Kates requested Steer 'N Stein for hers. Several singles also ventured out to the Living Desert Zoo to see the nighttime WildLights. In December, the singles headed to Cal Baptist University for their "Christmas Spectacular" concert and the California Theatre to hear the San Bernardino Symphony perform their season ending concert, "A Holiday Festival." If you're single and would like to join us for outings like these, we meet on the first Friday of the month in The Lodge Arts & Crafts Room at 6 pm. For more information, please contact Monica Sarafian at (626) 862-8215. ~ Phyllis Kates e Singles celebrated Joyce Burmester's (fourth from le) birthday at Apple Annie's in Oak Glen Some of the Singles ventured out to the desert to view the WildLights e Singles celebrated Phyllis' birthday at Steer 'N Stein
