FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2025 63 The year 2024 is ending shortly. We want to thank everyone who joined us in the Tuesday Billiards For Fun Group this year. We have enjoyed playing with everyone. We will have had our fourth quarterly tournament by the time this article prints. Winners to be featured in the February issue. We hope everyone has a happy holiday season and a safe and happy new year. Our BFFG meets on Tuesdays from 11 am to 1 pm and 1 to 3 pm. Make it a New Year's Resolution to come and join us on Tuesdays for an afternoon of Billiards For Fun! We had at-home and away 8-ball tournaments with both Solera Diamond Valley in Hemet and Solera Oak Valley Greens in Beaumont. The 8-Ball Club also held its annual Holiday Party Dinner at Sizzler in Banning in December. All the 8-Ball Club Members and their guests in attendance had a great time of fellowship and camaraderie. The 8-Ball Club presents pool lovers with lots of opportunities for practice and tournaments. The 8-Ball Club practices or plays tournaments on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6:30 until 9 pm. The monthly 8-Ball Club business meeting is held on the first Wednesday of each month. In-house tournaments include an 8-Ball tournament on the second Wednesday of the month and a 9-Ball tournament on the fourth Wednesday of the month. The Club also competes in team events with Solera Oak Valley and Solera Diamond Valley (see addresses below) on the first, second, third, and fourth Monday of each month: two here and two away. Walk in and ask for Del or any of the members playing about the Club (David, Captain Kirk, Doug, Augie, Larry, Bella, Claudio, Rick, Scott, Leo, Jone, et al). The 8-Ball Club is always looking for new members who would like to learn and play pool to join us. There is a calendar of all our events each month plus sign-up sheets in The Lodge Billiards Room on the 8-Ball Club bulletin board. Pictures to follow next month. We are always looking for new players and welcome ladies at any level of playing skill. You don't need to be an expert pool player in order to enjoy our group of ladies. Start your New Year out by coming down to the Billiards Room at The Lodge on Mondays from 11 am until 1 pm to play with a fun group enjoying the game and the easy camaraderie. The "Wild Bunch" is in full swing, and we look forward to having those who are serious and competitive billiards players join us. We enjoy playing 8-Ball, 9-Ball, and Scotch Doubles. You don't have to be the best player, just a player who wants to improve their game in a more competitive setting. The "Wild Bunch" consists of some of the best players in the league, and we are always looking for great competition. If you want to play serious, competitive pool, we invite you to join us on Fridays from 12:30 to 2:30 pm in the Billiards Room for the stimulation of competitive play.
