It was a beautiful day on Saturday, Nov. 9, just right for the
SDV Pickleball Club's last tournament of 2024. is was our
rst double-elimination tournament. Players teamed up with
a partner for the entire time; teams were one man and one
woman. Each team continued to move ahead until they lost
two games, hence the double-elimination. Prizes were awarded
to the rst, second, and third place teams. Here is a rundown
of the tournament winners: Pictured in the center are David
and Anica Newbold, who took home rst place. Richard and
Christie Clarke appear on the le and were awarded second
place. Rounding out the winners' circle were Paula Cecil and
Tommy Baker, who captured third place and are pictured on
the right. Congratulations to all! e SDV Pickleball Club is
growing, and we'd love to have you in our next group picture.
