Last month, I introduced you to three new members of our management
team, and with the continued growth of our community, I would like to take
this opportunity to remind everyone of the important guidelines regarding the
use of our Association's facilities, Rule 4.1 – Membership Card and specically
in relation to 4.1.6 Facility Access.
4.1 – Membership Card
4.1.1 Concept
Ownership of a residence within the Association entitles the Owner to
full use of all Association facilities and to priority use over guests and other
authorized visitors.
4.1.2 One Residence/One Membership
ere is only one membership for each residence owned. While all Owners,
or Co-Owners, have authorized facility use privileges, resident membership
cards will only be issued for each qualifying resident and qualied permanent
resident. (CC&Rs §1.1.69 and §1.1.70)
4.1.3 Rentals
When leasing residential property, the Owner continues to pay the monthly
Association assessment but may not use Association facilities. e Owner must
temporarily surrender his/her resident membership card(s) to the management
oce for the duration of the lease, as well as provide a copy of the lease. e
lease must be for a minimum of 6 months. e renters may then request a
supplemental membership card, subject to a reasonable administration fee.
(CC&Rs §2.5)
4.1.4 Membership Transfer
e right to a resident membership card is based upon occupancy of a
Residence. When buying a Residence, the new Owner may be required to pay
a membership transfer fee for the purpose of establishing a new membership
account.
4.1.5 Non-Transferable Cards
Cards are not transferable and cannot be loaned.
4.1.6 Facility Access
All Members must present their current resident membership card to use
Association facilities and must not give access to the facility to anyone other
than themselves and their guests.
To ensure the security and safety of the Lodge, please be advised that access
to the facility will only be granted upon the presentation of a valid membership
card or badge. If you arrive at the Lodge and nd that you have forgotten your
membership card, we kindly ask that you return home to retrieve it before re-
entering the facility. ank you for your understanding and cooperation.
