Art-A-Faire Come and join us for a wonderful evening of art displays by local artists and live music on Fri., Feb. 21 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at the Kay Ceniceros Senior Center (29995 Evans Rd.)! We're celebrating Black History Month by showcasing artwork that honors the incredible contributions and achievements of black men and women. There's no better way to learn about a culture than through its art. Best of all, admission is free, and no registration is necessary. Spring Shred Fest Sat. March 15, 8 - 11 am (or until truck is full); Menifee City Hall (29844 Haun Road) Adaptive Sports Fair Join us at Spirit Park (25507 Normandy Rd.) for an amazing day filled with fun, sports, and inclusion on Sat., Feb. 1 from 10 am to 1 pm. Our activities are open to everyone, regardless of age or ability. We make sure that every sport is tailored to accommodate any ability, so everyone can join in and have a blast! Plus, we'll have delicious food vendors and resource booths on-site for you to explore and learn more about local services. Bulky-Item Drop-Off Event Sat., Feb. 15, 8 am to 12 pm(or until bins are full); Mt. San Jacinto College, Menifee Campus (28237 La Piedra Road). Please bring a photo I.D. or proof of residency to utilize this service. This is a great way to help keep Menifee clean and remove unwanted clutter. Free mulch will also be available for residents to "Scoop and Go" at this event! • Acceptable Bulky Items include: Furniture, mattresses (three per vehicle), appliances, electronic waste, refrigerators, bagged green waste, used tires, air conditioners. • Unacceptable Bulky Items include: Batteries, construction waste, hazardous waste, sharps, latex or oil paint. This event is just one of our four bulky item events per year! If you can't make it to this drop-off event, remember Menifee Waste Management customers are entitled to four FREE bulky item pick-ups annually.
