Master Board Common Areas
If the back of your home doesn't face the golf course, most likely
your back yard looks out on a swath of greenery, rather than someone
else's yard. Our houses are built on what is called a "Zero lot line"
which means that one side of the building is on the property line.
Attached homes are built straddling the property line. Because our
homes are very close together, the swath of greenery is a buffer zone
that makes the area feel more expansive without adding to your
yard maintenance, so that you can spend more time having fun at
the Clubhouse.
Maintenance of of these areas, and all the other extensive common
areas (excluding your front yard, which is maintained by your
individual village) is taken care of by the employees of the O'Connell
Company on a six week rotation. Your Landscape Committee and
the Landscape Operations Director, Kathy Guzman, work with the
O'Connell employees regarding plant choices, maintenance, and the
health of all plants in the common areas.
If you should happen to see a plant or tree that needs attention,
water leaking, or some other problem in the common areas, please
fill out a work order and submit it to the HOA so that it can be taken
care of promptly. Work Orders can be completed on the website at:
oceanhillscountryclub.com.
This information will be addressed somewhat regularly,
because we have many new and longer term residents who may not
understand the difference between their property areas and the
common landscape areas.
