OHSPA
Hello Ocean Hills! Aren't we lucky to live in a community
where we can enjoy professional, high-quality entertainment at an
extremely affordable cost? This is all because of OHSPA. So many
have wondered exactly what OHSPA is and what OHSPA does. Here's
a little quiz to see how much you may or may not know about this
organization.
1. What does OHSPA stand for? See the title above.
2. Is OHSPA a club? No. OHSPA is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt
charitable organization.
3. What does OHSPA do? OHSPA contracts with and hires
professional performers to bring great entertainment to our
OHCC community at only $30 per ticket.
4. How much would the shows cost you outside of our
community? The cost for a ticket to these types of shows
would be three to five times more than the cost of a ticket to
an OHSPA show.
5. What are the benefits of becoming a *Star Donor?
• A *Star Donor makes a donation of $500 and selects their
seat before ticket sales begin. This seat is reserved for all three
shows during the year.
• *Star Donors do not need to wait in line to purchase
tickets for each show.
• *Star Donors enjoy a pre-show reception including
chocolates and wine, with the bonus of arriving early so there are
no worries about finding a parking spot.
6. What does the OHSPA Board do? The OHSPA Board is
responsible for finding quality and entertaining shows,
negotiating every contract; organizing and conducting
all of the numerous activities related to the production
and promotion of these shows. All Board members are
volunteers donating their time to fulfill the mission of
this organization to provide activities which promote the
understanding and appreciation of the performing arts for
the OHCC community at a discounted price.
