28 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2025 Social Committee DID YOU MISS THE NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY? The evening started off handing your ticket stub to the effervescent Cindy Graves before entering The Lodge Ballroom. Walking into the Ballroom, the decorations immediately draw your attention. There were silver and black centerpieces thanks to the help of Linda Federoff who showed Elaine Recchion, Nancy Ginnetti, Debbie Jenkins, and Meg O'Malley how to make them just prior to her taking off for the East Coast. The balance of the 30 centerpieces were finished by two volunteers who are not members of the Social Committee, Pat Flowers and Sherry Plamondon. We always greatly appreciate the help! Rows of champagne glasses filled by Tito Calderon, Rick Hand, and Rich Gabriel greeted us in the Ballroom. Just past the champagne were the party favors that the guests picked out to help enjoy the festivities of the evening. While looking for your table and enjoying conversation with friends, Anne Taylor Catering served hors d'oeuvres and DJ Tony Zambrana played soft music. During the evening, Melvin, with Photo Booth Fun with Media Events had his photo booth set up to take pictures of the guests to remember the event. Thank you to all the residents who volunteered to help make this event a success. Mesh Bags and Candy assembly: Elaine Recchion, Bobbi Bennett, Janet Owens, and Becky Sanchez. Ballroom Set Up – First Day: Alice Daughty, Andrea Griffin, Barry Ginnetti, Cathleen Allen, Chena Hand, Cheryl Calderon, Chris Gambino, DeAne Nottingham, Howard Keith, Mary Christleman, Meg O'Mally, Rich Gabriel, Rick Hand, Tanya Stewart, and finally last but not least, Wetto Gambino. As you can see it does take a village to make these events happen and we appreciate all of the volunteers! NEXT EVENT: Feb. 22 – Comedians – Jammin' Jay Lamont, Mike Cano and a third comedian to be named. Tickets went on sale Jan. 21 in The Lodge. Not to worry if you missed that date; they will be on sale at the front desk. ~ Lisa Johnson, lisajohnson710@gmail.com
