FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2025 59
Hey there, fabulous Four Seasons Pickleball peeps!
Can you believe it's already February? Despite the
winter chill, our courts are still buzzing with awesome games,
fantastic friends, and that amazing community spirit we all love.
So, bundle up and come on out and enjoy the smell of pickleball in
the morning.
Speaking of amazing, let's rewind to our holiday party. It was
an absolute blast, like always. A huge shout-out to our incredible
steering committee for planning such a festive and fantastic event.
Jesse Aceves and Kelly Vucinic rocked it as our masters of ceremony,
and they presented the coveted sportsmanship award to the one and
only Robert Mahan (pictured below).
Thanks to our awesome Bistro, we feasted on a mouthwatering
prime rib dinner with all of the fixings. We were entertained by
Karen Belcher, who led the way with a hilarious game of Name that
Xmas Tune. What a fun time, even with that one table
who, well, you were there. We even squeezed in some
dancing to top it all off.
Now, for a quick PSA: Please, please, please make sure you're
rocking some proper court shoes when you're playing. And don't
forget to check those treads regularly for any wear and tear. We've
had a few slips and falls lately, and we want everyone to stay safe
and keep having a blast on the courts. No one wants their pickleball
journey to end with a nasty fall, right? So, keep those shoes in tip-
top shape and be careful out there. No "get" is worth a tumble!
One last remindogram, Pickleball Club dues are due now, please
pay Maggie Domico or Carol Ward. $25 per person for the year cash
or check only, they have a stamp for a check. Best deal in town!
See you on the courts, ready to play. ~ Shelley Allard,
