FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2025 5 Message from the Board The plans for the celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Four Seasons at Beaumont are now in the works. Each month activities will be scheduled by the Recognition Committee to highlight the growth of our community from the dirt fields it once was to the beautiful HOA we now know containing 1,853 homes, recreation facilities, including a ballroom, gyms, movie theater, tennis, paddle ball and pickleball courts. A large number of clubs and groups of card players, dance groups, and social clubs occupy our residents' free time throughout the year. Please look for the impressive schedule of activities our Recognition Committee has planned for us throughout 2025 and celebrate with your neighbors the wonderful community Four Seasons has grown into. If you have not ordered the 20th Anniversary Four Seasons shirts, they can be purchased at The Lodge. Please pardon our dust as we renovate many of the facilities within The Lodge and its pool and decking. The street project first phase has been completed but the crack patching and slurry will begin sometime in April. In the meantime, if you have questions about the project streets and schedule, please contact our General Manager Eric Zarr who is our contact with the paving company, NPG. The 2nd Street Project in Beaumont has been designed to alleviate the traffic congestion from the Home Depot shopping center by extending 2nd Street to Pennsylvania Avenue. Beaumont received a $1 million federal grant from Congressman Dr. Ruiz in order to move the project forward. The bids were received by the City of Beaumont on Dec. 9, 2024, and (as I write this report) the contract awarded January, 2025. The damage to The Courts' building has been reviewed by contractors and bids have been submitted. Those bids have now been submitted to the insurance company responsible for repairing the damage, and it is anticipated repairs will begin shortly. Thanks to all of you for your patience as we work through the necessary steps to complete the repairs. During the open Board of Directors meeting on Jan. 9, the Board re-certified all our committees for another year. This occurs once a year in January, and it ensures the work of each committee continues through the proper staffing. We, as Board members and residents of Four Seasons, appreciate the volunteer time put in by members of each committee. Four Seasons could not operate without the dedication of our volunteers and we thank each of you for the hours committed to making Four Seasons the premier community it has become. Our Board of Directors meet on the second Thursday of each month at 1 pm in the Ballroom. Meet with the Board is a more informal setting on the third Wednesday of each month at 2 pm in the Ballroom. This forum allows Board members to engage in conversation with residents on almost any subject except for confidential issues under litigation or topics discussed in Executive Session of the Board. Several members of the Board are in attendance each month. If you have any questions, please contact me at (951) 212-8898 or at jmonahan.fsb@gmail.com. By Jerry Monahan, Board President
