Exciting news for our Travel Group: WE'RE BACK! The holidays have come and gone, and we're excited to announce that after a brief hiatus, our travel group is ready to gather once again. Our beloved Ballroom, which has been undergoing extensive refurbishments over the past two months, is now ready to welcome us back for our next meeting. We are thrilled to reconnect with everyone, and what better way to kick off the new year than with a gathering filled with travel plans and excitement for the adventures ahead? Mark your calendars — our next meeting will be Feb. 15 at 10 am in the newly-updated Ballroom. It's been a long two months without our regular meetings, and we're eager to reconnect and share our enthusiasm for the upcoming trips. We know that the start of the year has been quieter than usual, especially after the unfortunate cancellation of our January trip, but there is no need to worry — we've got an exciting line-up of trips planned for 2025 that you won't want to miss! We've been hard at work behind the scenes to bring you a variety of trips that will allow you to explore new destinations, create lasting memories, and enjoy the company of fellow travel enthusiasts. Our team is committed to creating experiences that are not only fun but also filled with cultural immersion and unforgettable moments. The February meeting will be a great opportunity to catch up with fellow members, hear about the exciting trips coming up, and get all the details you need to start planning your next adventure. Whether you're looking to explore a new city, embark on an outdoor adventure, or relax at a tropical resort, there's plenty of travel inspiration to be shared. We will also be discussing any updates or changes to our travel plans for the year, ensuring that all members are up to date and prepared. We're so excited to be back, and we can't wait to see all of you at the meeting on Feb. 15. Don't miss out — our travel adventures await! To become a member, contact Irene at irenewelker55@gmail.com and be sure to include your phone number or you can come to one of our meetings and sign up. We attended local holiday concerts, most notably Cal Baptist University's annual holiday concert "A CBU Christmas" and the San Bernardino Symphony's annual holiday concert, "A Holiday Festival." We also attended LifeHouse Theate's production of It's A Wonderful Life and some of the gals went to see Wicked. And no month would be complete without a few meal outings. We went to Cactus Cantina in Riverside after the CBU concert and we celebrated Monica Sarafian's birthday at one of our favorite spots, Carolyn's Cafe in Redlands. We rounded out the month by attending the Jewish Cultural Club's Hanukkah Party. 2025 looks to be filled with many more fun outings. If you're single and would like to join us for outings like these, we meet on the first Friday of the month in The Lodge Arts & Crafts Room at 6 pm. For more information, please contact Monica Sarafian at (626) 862-8215. ~ Phyllis Kates e Singles held their annual Holiday Party and gi exchange at the Bistro. e Singles attended the San Bernardino Symphony's annual holiday concert.
