On Feb. 3, Marty Mangan will
present Part 2 of his two-part
program on the European Crusades
in the Holy Land between 1095 and
1291, perhaps a relevant topic given
current events. The program is in
the Clubhouse, Oakmont Rooms 1
and 2, from 4:30 to 5:30 pm.
On March 3, Richard Crowe will
present a program on the origin of
words and phrases. Do you know, for
instance, the origin of the expression
"get the lead out?" We know what it
means but where did it come from?
