| LIFE IN SOLERA | FEBRUARY 2025 | 27
Our members were very generous at our December Christmas
Holiday event. Sippers donated $1,870 to the Inland Empire Ronald
McDonald House. Checks were personally delivered in January.
January's event, 'Name That Tune' was a well-attended fun
evening. Your 'team' were your table mates. Let's just say there
were many brain cells exercised with all the music of our youth to
try and recall.
Our February event will be popular also, with the Sippers playing
Bingo for prizes (not necessarily wine prizes either).
March will be our annual Membership Dinner/Dance. At this
event, members vote and install the next Executive Committee.
This is also the time to sign up for – or renew – your membership
for the year ahead. Our membership year runs April 1 through
March 30. Membership is still only $20 per person and is a great
value. All membership dues come back to you via subsidized events
and one free event per year.
April will be a fresh, new event. 'Out of the Box' will be a fun
evening of enjoying certain boxed wines, which may surprise you
for their quality.
Remember, ALL Solera residents are welcome in the Solera
Sippers. The only requirement (besides living in Solera) is a desire
to have a good time!
Membership is required if you are a Solera resident.
For membership or other information, please contact Gary Stoh
