From the Desk of Chuck Gordon
e year 2025 will be the year when the long war is
over! I'm not speaking about the war in the Middle East,
but rather the litigation over the golf course. e decisive
court victory this past December in the Appellate Court
will prove to be the turning point that would put a merciful
end to 12 years of relentless judicial warfare. Now is the
time to focus on what portends to be a bright future in our
community. We have much to look forward to. Gone will
be the days of $200,000 annual litigation costs. We can
now focus on our own version of a Marshall Plan for the
golf course.
ere is no reason why the golf course cannot be
restored back to its former glory. I foresee the restoration
of the ngers, which has long been neglected. Also, the
beautication of the patio area by the pool. I envision the
year 2025 being exciting times in our community.
But make no mistake, 2025 will also be a year of hard
work, but with much progress to be gained. ere is much
that needs to be done as we move forward into the future.
Let this year be the time to rally around our good fortune
and bring our community together to celebrate hard fought
wins. Friendship and neighborly goodwill need to be a top
priority. We are fortunately blessed with good people to
lead the charge. My colleagues on the Board and the HOA
sta have placed you in good hands, and I am proud to be
a cog in that wheel. Let's make this a year to remember!
