We are a welcoming, diverse, and friendly social group who enjoy playing a variety of card/board games, great food, and good times. On Feb. 15 there will be an EXTRA GAME DAY for the Bid Whist Plus Social Club Dominoes players! Invite your guests and let's have fun. BYOR and snacks if you wish. Unlike our traditional Club Game day, you can relax as this will not be a potluck event. We also have been involved in sharing our love for music by organizing musical events throughout the year. Visionaries like James Brown blazed a trail that inuenced the birth of disco, hip hop, and even funk metal. e legendary Chaka Khan, hailed as the "Queen of Funk," soared to stardom with her band Rufus, while icons such as Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and Kool and the Gang incorporated funky elements into their music. Funk music enjoyed its heyday during the '70s and '80s, leaving an indelible mark on the music landscape. RedShi Musicworks, a quartet band drawing inspiration from funk, marks its eighth year of craing and performing original music in Southern California within the Avant Funk/Jazz/World Music realm. Featuring Dannie Hofmann on saxophones, ute, and percussion, Stu Goodis on guitars and eects, Martin Torres on bass, and Tyler Walton on drums, the group unites musicians from diverse backgrounds and locations to cultivate a distinctive and genuine sound. eir shared aspiration is to infuse your day with a touch of brightness and eortlessness through their music. | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | FEBRUARY 2025 | 33 Bid Whist PLUS Club WIT (Women In Touch) Piano Club e WIT ladies share a common bond – the loss of the love of their life. Our dinner meeting provides a special social interaction and helps to rekindle old and new friendships. e WIT Team gathers once a month in the Bistro for dinner. Our dinner orders are "called in" to the Bistro between 2 to 4 pm. When we gather at 5 pm, our orders are already being prepared and are ready to deliver to each attendee. We are a support group. Please accept our invitation to join us if you are a widow in need of a social connection and loving care.
