We're a month into the new year and back at it, having more fun creating. We need to work on ideas for this year's monthly Make 'n Take projects. Our meetings have always been well attended and are enjoyable and informative. I'm guessing some Valentine-themed projects might be in the making. I often refer to my Art Journaling magazines for ideas to incorporate into my Paper Crafting. I'm continually discovering (new to me) supplies that I want to know more about and if I could possibly benefit from adding them to my stash. There's always room in my stockpile of provisions for another creative tool. I think it's an obsession of us crafters. If you have this addiction too, maybe you need to join our group! We meet Mondays from 1 to 3 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. The time changes on the second Monday of the month from 11 am to 1 pm, also in the Multipurpose Room. February's meeting dates are Feb. 3, 10, 17, and 24. The second Thursday of every month is reserved for our birthday luncheon, which will be on Thurs., Feb. 13 at 11:30 am. There are three February birthday gals to celebrate, and they will be providing desserts for all attendees. We will enjoy our lunch in the Main Clubhouse Restaurant. Paper Crafting 28 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | FEBRUARY 2025 | Fiber Artists Our club meets every Monday in the North Clubhouse at 12:30 pm except on the third Monday of the month when we meet at 11:30 am. On the second Monday we swap materials and share our stash. On the third Monday we share completed projects, and on the last Monday we share a potluck lunch. We invite all knitters, crocheters, and needlework of any kind. Come join us! We start the New Year with plans to learn new things, start a project together, and learn to quilt a few of our own items. We have a great time sharing out quilts or table toppers we've made. Quilters Mudslingers Mudslingers continue to play in the mud on Wednesdays from 3 to 6 pm and Fridays from 9 am to 12 pm in the Arts & Crafts Room. Come by and visit.
