Makua Hula Hawaiian Dancers
Wishing our SLCC friends a Happy Valentine's
Day! In Hawaiian, "Happy Valentine's Day" is
translated as: "Hau'oli la aloha." Each word in
this phrase carries a profound meaning: Hau'oli:
Happy; La: Day; Aloha: Love. These words form
a heartfelt greeting encapsulating joy, affection,
and the inclusive spirit of love celebrated in
Hawaii (from blog.polynesianpride ).
The Makua Hula Hawaiian dancers look
forward to upcoming performances in 2025. We
are currently preparing for our performance in
the Travel Club Capers in March.
